Our booth at last years Bass Derby/Festival was another success! Thank you to everyone in the community and all the visitors that helped make this happen. Let's do even BETTER next year! (We need more TEAM MEMBERS and/or volunteers ~ PLEASE!)

in San Francisco the walkers to come in before we walk to
Oct. 2-4, 2009 the Marina for our Celebration.
Celebration at S.F. Marina to greet and thank all those who ran, walked or crewed at the 3-Day Komen for the Cure!
I was a "Crew" member with the "Food Services". We were up by 3:30a.m. each morning to feed everyone, clean up, maybe fit in a short nap or just take pictures of the beautiful scenery in S.F. and then bask to serve up dinner when the walkers returned. Then clean up again and head for bed and another day! It was so worth it just to get up, zip up that tent zipper, stick your head out the tent and there is the Golden Gate Bridge with a full moon behind it. Hard to beat that for a view at 3am in the morning!
